A quick update, 16.45pm: maybe more like two seasons in one day after all. What a difference a day a few hours makes. And this isn’t the first spot of rain today.
You might not be able to see it, but there’s a light but persistent drizzle falling, and of course I didn’t bring a coat because it was such a beautiful morning. Harrumph!
I dont like rain like better when the sun is shining 🙂
In Norway we can have all 4 season in a day haha..
Cheers!

It’s the same for me, sunshine and 25 degrees Celsius all year would be perfect! For half of the year in Ireland you have to wear a t-shirt but also a heavy coat because it could change from sun to rain in an instant.
I don’t think I could stand a really cold Norwegian winter rain :).

Hello, I found your blog through Opinionated Man’s blog post about meeting other bloggers. You write about the English language, seems perfect to me, since I am blogging in English even though I live in Scandinavia. It is a true challenge, so I need to learn more aspects of the English language. 🙂
If you’re ever interested in checking my blog out, I write about surviving a narcissistic relationship. I also have two other categories, a bit of dabbling in poetry, and some photography.
Oh, I love Ireland by the way! 🙂

Thank you, I’m so glad you’ve found my blog (I’ve found lots of other interesting blogs through Opinionated Man’s post too!) If you have any questions about English that I don’t cover in my posts please ask me: my natural teacher’s instinct is to explain things, and I love discussing English :). I’m sure I’ll have lots more posts about Irish rain for you to enjoy :). I’ve just started to look at your blog and it seems really fascinating, I look forward to reading your work.

I’d love that for about a week, but then I think my alabaster skin would spontaneously combust! 🙂
