That’s great, thanks for sharing! I can identify with imaging someone so great to fall in love with, but I don’t think I’ve ever done it as well as you :).
This isn’t my most read post but it did have about 800 hits. It is one of many letters I have posted about what life is like for Jamie Cummings in prison and much of it in solitary confinement or ad seg for the past ten plus years. It also has one of my piano recordings. There are about 25 scattered around the blog but you can hear all of them at soundcloud. They are good to listen to if you can’t go to sleep! I hope you enjoy. https://mynameisjamie.net/2015/03/16/a-prison-cell-the-loneliest-place/.
Thanks for sharing that: it’s amazing to read Jamie’s words, and even with them I can’t imagine what life must be like for him. Well done for sharing his story. And your piano-playing is beautiful!
Niall – thank you. I put up a new post today from one of his letters. Please subscribe to my new monthly newsletter. It is a way to see how he is doing and how the book is coming plus other info I find along the way. to publish a book, having people to tell when it is done is crucial when you self publish. There is a link on the post. If not, all is well 😉
This is by far my most viewed post, Are you sabotaging your job search without ever talking to a hiring manager? Someone kindly posted it on the right board on reddit and generated a lot of traffic for my little blog 🙂
Hey, this sounds like fun. My most popular post was an editors pick on WordPress and brought in nearly 550 likes and more than 300 comments. Here it is https://alexischateau.com/2016/05/04/translating-becky-with-the-good-hair/ Thanks again! What was yours?

This is mine:

though not by much. I think having a topical title helped!

Thank you Niall. Yes, I do believe writing on a popular issue worked for both of us. Thanks for teaching me what a portmanteau is!

Ooh, I like this idea!
My most-read post was something I wrote back in my first month blogging (March) and shared to Reddit, though I don’t think anyone read it here on WordPress. It’s an analysis on the popularity of character names from the TV show Archer. Link: https://wellinformednamer.wordpress.com/2016/03/31/how-archer-affects-baby-names/

An interesting topic, I wouldn’t have expected it to have much an effect, especially on the number of Cyrils :).
